SSHRC Partnership Development Grants

The application and  instructions for the SSHRC Partnership Development Grants are now available on the SSHRC site.

Value:  $75,000 to $200,000 over 1-3 years

Deadlines:
Faculty of Education –Associate Dean’s Office: At least one week prior to the agency deadline (earlier if you wish a comprehensive review – send to Karen Kueneman)
Research Development & Services: At least 3 days prior to the agency deadline
SSHRC: November 30, 2012 (Results announced March 2013)

Description: Partership Development Grants provide support to teams/partnerships, led by a project director, to:

  • develop research and related activities in the social sciences and humanities, including knowledge mobilization and the meaningful involvement of students and new scholars, by fostering new partnerships for research and related activities involving existing and/or potential partners; or
  • design and test new partnership approaches for research and/or related activities that may result in best practices or models that either can be adapted by others or have the potential to be scaled up to a regional, national or international level.

Eligibility: A Principal Investigator (PI)/Project Director must be eligible to hold a research account

Applications: Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development & Services  and are to be accompanied by a completed ROLA.
