Please join us for The Western Institute for Research on Teaching and Learning, a three-day hands-on workshop designed to support faculty members, librarians, and archivists in the development of a research project on their own teaching. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss the basics of doing research on teaching in higher education (e.g., developing a researchable question; quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research designs; ethical consideration in research on teaching; making your research public). Participants will also work individually and/or in small groups to develop their own projects. Experienced Scholarship of Teaching and Learning researchers will facilitate the institute and will also provide individual consultation as requested.
