The CIHR Knowledge Translation (KT) Branch will provide support to dissemination events/activities that focus on the communication of health research evidence to the appropriate researcher and/or knowledge user audience(s), tailoring the message and medium as appropriate.
Deadlines:Faculty of Education Research Office: One week prior to the CIHR deadline. (2-3 weeks prior if you wish to have extensive feedback on your application. Contact Karen Kueneman.)
Research Development & Services: At least 3 days prior to CIHR deadline
CIHR: October 15, 2013 (for a notice of decision end of February 2014)
Amount: up to $25,000 for up to 1 year
Relevant Activities: Events/activities may focus on, but are not limited to, the following:
- Education of groups such as patients, health professionals, community organizations, policy-makers, the general public;
- Knowledge dissemination that will inform practice, clinical care, partnership best practices, policy and decision making;
- Dissemination and/or discussion of research findings at scientific meetings, workshops, conferences, congresses or symposia.
