The Movember Foundation is pleased to announce a Request for Applications (RFA) for mental health and wellbeing projects for Canadian men and boys.
There is $8 Million available for collaborative, innovative mental health projects.
Proposals are being requested from organizations that wish to collaboratively develop new mental health projects that will contribute to change at the population level, with a specific focus on prevention, early intervention and stigma reduction.
Proposals should address one or more of the following priority areas:
1. Creating mentally healthy workplaces and workers
2. Strengthening the mental health and wellbeing of men and boys
3. Reducing the number of men and boys who die by suicide
4. Strengthening social and emotional skills in young men and boys
This is an opportunity for the Canadian mental health community, and beyond, to achieve significant results on boys’ and men’s mental health and wellbeing.
This will be a two-step application process with Letters of Intent (LOI) due at 5:00 pm EDT 9 May 2014 and the final application deadline for those invited to submit full proposals, 5:00 pm EDT August 8, 2014.
To view the Request for Applications and to submit a letter of intent, please visit https://cmhn-mhi.fluidreview.com/. Alternatively, for information about this initiative, please contact Ivy Lim-Carter at email@example.com.
There will be two webinars (containing the same information) on Monday 14th April EDT 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Tuesday April 22nd EDT 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in support of this Request for Applications. The webinars will reiterate the information contained in the RFA, and will allow interested parties to ask questions related to the call.
