The Research Office invites you to attend a workshop and discussion session devoted to Research Impact. This workshop is a follow-up to discussions during our September faculty retreat.
Tuesday, February 17, 2015, 12:30 – 2:00 pm
Room 1010, Faculty of Education
Research Impact is becoming an ever increasingly important issue in universities around the world. Impact is a crucial factor in hiring decisions, promotions, grant approvals, as well as determining University rankings internationally. International rankings in particular strongly affect a university’s ability to recruit high quality students and faculty members.
The Research Office is now looking at strategic ways to ensure that the research done in the Faculty of Education is disseminated most effectively to maximize that impact and bolster our institutional reputation. This workshop will lay out the fundamental issues related to Impact to help attendees develop better understanding of why Impact matters and how it can be achieved.
A light lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Tina Beynen: email@example.com
