Melissa Milkie is Professor and Graduate Chair of Sociology at the University of Toronto. Her current research focuses on how work-family configurations and culture have implications for the mental health and well-being of parents, children and families.  She also examines changes within work and family life over recent decades, and in cultural constructions of mothering and fathering.
