SSHRC Partnership Grants – Letter of Intent

The Partnership Grants – Letter of Intent description and application form for the 2015 competition are now available on the SSHRC website.

SSHRC: February 16, 2015 since the annual deadline of February 15 falls on a weekend

Amount: Partnership Grants involve a two-stage application process. The Letter of Intent stage awards grants valued up to $20,000 to applicants invited to prepare a Formal Application.  The value of awards at the second stage is up to $500,000 per year over four to seven years, for a maximum total of up to $2.5 million over seven years.

Description: Partnership Grants provide support to new or existing formal partnerships for initiatives that advance research, research training and/or knowledge mobilization in the social sciences and humanities.

Eligibility: A Principal Investigator (PI) must be eligible to hold a research account.  An individual may not, in a calendar year, submit, as applicant (principal investigator/project director), an application for both an Partnership Grant and a Partnership Development Grant.

Applications: Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development & Services  and are to be accompanied by a completed ROLA. Applications and instructions are available through the SSHRC website.
